Prepare for our first magical evening of breathtaking string harmonies as the Highmark Theater at Pittsburgh Playhouse transforms into a glowing sanctuary of 1,000 candles this June 20th.

The LiveWell Apartments are now open to residents. This historic building, located at 550 Wood St, was designed in 1904 by legendary architect Daniel Burnham. It has since been elevated to offer residents a comfortable modern lifestyle in a space true to Burnham’s timeless design.

Revel, located Downtown at 242 Forbes Ave., is proud to announce the launch of On the Wall Video Showcase at Revel, a dynamic and ever-evolving video art series that will spotlight a different artist each month. This immersive visual experience will transform Revel’s video wall into a digital canvas, offering guests an exciting new way to engage with contemporary video art while enjoying the restaurant’s signature ambiance.

Eight years ago, Downtown Pittsburgh welcomed its first dedicated off-leash dog park, a milestone driven by the Downtown Neighbors Alliance (DNA). Located on the corner of 9th Street and Fort Duquesne Boulevard, this park was the answer to a growing need in the city. With a rising number of pet owners moving into high-rise apartments and condos, DNA recognized that urban pups needed a safe space to run and play freely.

Nestled in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh, The Commoner offers an elevated dining experience that blends bold flavors with a welcoming atmosphere. Located within the Kimpton Hotel Monaco, it has become a favorite among both locals and visitors looking for a carefully crafted meal at any time of the day, breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner.

Aither Yoga is back in Downtown Pittsburgh, at 339 Forbes Ave. The studio was established in 2020 but shut down a few times during the pandemic. In January, Mayor Ed Gainey joined founder and owner Tyler Paytas and his team for a ribbon cutting ceremony in celebration of Aither Yoga’s grand re-opening.

The Fort Duquesne Bridge, an iconic structure spanning the Allegheny River, is one of Pittsburgh’s most recognizable landmarks. The purpose of this initiative is to create a stimulating and engaging forum for residents and aims to bring together experts, business owners, and the community to explore key aspects of urban growth.

Pittsburgh, meet Arts Landing.

That’s the name for the new $31 million Downtown gathering and play space being proposed by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust on Eighth Street bordering Penn Avenue and Fort Duquesne Boulevard.

On Thursday, Cultural Trust officials dropped the name and more details about the four-acre spot, which will include a great lawn, a bandshell for concerts, a play area, a garden walk, pickleball courts, and a small running track.

Nestled in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh, The Industrialist Hotel seamlessly blends modern luxury with Pittsburgh’s industrial past. Housed in the iconic 18-story Arrott Building, originally constructed in 1902 by local architect Frederick Osterling, the hotel offers a seamless connection between past and present. Working with renowned designer Stonehill Taylor, the hotel’s design features themes inspired by Pittsburgh’s industrial past, including cornice crowns that evoke the strength of the city’s steel heritage. The design also reflects Pittsburgh’s unique geography, referencing the three main rivers: Ohio, Allegheny, and Monongahela, which is collectively known as “The Point.”
