ABOUT US

The Downtown Neighbors Alliance is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit, community-based organization that serves downtown Pittsburgh. The organization partners with supportive community leaders through innovative programs and events that encourage residential development, assist small businesses and promote the arts and entertainment — we strive to make the Golden Triangle a better place to live, work and play.

Downtown Pittsburgh is dynamic and so are its residents. The extraordinary access to rivers, trails, parks and amenities make the downtown neighborhood the premier place for people leading active lifestyles between New York and Chicago. The Downtown Neighbors Alliance is the only resident-driven organization dedicated to building and improving the community of downtown.

More than 23,000 people connect with Downtown Neighbors Alliance every week through "The Downtowner", our weekly newsletter, including over 4,000 Downtown residents. Thousands of people have attended our community-building events. More than 100 entrepreneurs, corporations and small businesses are part of the Downtown Neighbors Alliance network focused on enhancing the quality of downtown life for the ever-growing number of residents and visitors.

For 2024, Downtown Neighbors Alliance aims to transition the successful early rebirth of downtown into a thriving urban community. Our facilitation will be in both residential and retail growth that stimulates community development in Downtown Pittsburgh. The goal of these programs is to foster a sense of community, diversify the small business landscape and cultivate arts and culture. Downtown Neighbors Alliance works to nurture relationships that give the growing residential and small business population a greater voice in the community, with a commitment to the well-being of Pittsburgh as a whole.

Downtown Neighbors Alliance holds as a value that residents, corporations, civic organizations and government have mutually beneficial relationships among all of us who share our commitments to Pittsburgh.

Stimulate community development by facilitating residential and retail growth downtown to make Pittsburgh one of America’s most vibrant and sought-after cities.

Downtown Neighbors Alliance Resident Ambassadors. Downtown Pittsburgh Projects and Events. About Downtown Neighbors Alliance.
About Downtown Neighbors Alliance. Downtown Pittsburgh Projects and Events.

Since 2013, the Resident Ambassadors have served as advocates for the residents in their building. Reflective of all residential buildings in The Golden Triangle, they are the representative between DNA and downtown residents. The Resident Ambassadors main responsibility is to get feedback on important issues so the DNA can better advocate for what is best for downtown residents and the ecosystem as a whole.

Interested in getting involved with the Resident Ambassador program? Contact us at info@pittsburghdna.org.
