Downtown Neighbors Alliance is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit, community-based organization that serves downtown Pittsburgh. We partner with supportive community leaders through innovative projects and events that encourage residential development, assist small businesses and promote the arts and entertainment. DNA strives to make the Golden Triangle a better place to live, work and play.

Downtown Pittsburgh is dynamic and so are its residents. The extraordinary access to rivers, trails, parks and amenities make the downtown neighborhood the premier place for people leading active lifestyles between New York and Chicago. Downtown Neighbors Alliance is the only resident-driven organization dedicated to building and improving the community of downtown.

More than 24,000 people connect with Downtown Neighbors Alliance every week through The Downtowner, our weekly newsletter, including over 6,400 Downtown residents. Thousands of people have attended our community-building events. More than 100 entrepreneurs, corporations and small businesses are part of the Downtown Neighbors Alliance network focused on enhancing the quality of downtown life for the ever-growing number of residents and visitors.

For 2026, Downtown Neighbors Alliance aims to cultivate Downtown Pittsburgh into a lively and healthy community. We will do this through a range of programs and events to support every resident with what they need, like Acoustic Tuesdays where you listen to local Pittsburgh artists for when you want to listen to local music. Our Living Well Initiative makes wellness affordable and accessible. Showing up as yourself is enough. Yes, we are even preparing an event for the NFL Draft that will be held in Pittsburgh this year. Downtown Neighbors Alliance will still continue supporting small businesses through programs like the Liberty Avenue Project, Retail Recruitment programs, and more. We are committed every day to being a dependable and compassionate leader for the well-being of Pittsburgh.
