It’s Coming Back: Acoustic Tuesdays 2026
Written by Elisabeth Kay
As we begin to wrap up with this year’s Acoustic Tuesdays concerts, we can’t help but get excited for the future! Don’t worry, we’ve got big plans to bring these concerts back: in 2026, the Downtown Neighbors Alliance (DNA) will be hosting 24 more shows, completely free to the public.
Acoustic Tuesdays started as an experimental event, with interns and staff members at DNA working diligently to attempt to make it a reality– and now, we can officially say we did it. Acoustic Tuesdays are here to stay, thanks to the help of a sponsorship which we will name in the coming weeks. This event has been an essential part of our Liberty Avenue Project, which has been bringing vibrant life and revitalization to Liberty Avenue since we’ve dedicated our time to it. Bringing Acoustic Tuesdays downtown and to Liberty Avenue has created a new space for live music downtown, showcasing local artists to residents at no price.
2026 offers another big win for our Acoustic Tuesdays concerts, as we’ll be compensating our performers. Their amazing work deserves to be recognized, and we’re so excited to be able to fund them for the amazing shows they give to downtown residents week after week.
We’re ecstatic to bring Acoustic Tuesdays back in 2026, among other exciting projects we have planned! Stay up to date on our newsletter for date announcements, the reveal of our generous sponsor, and so much more happening with downtown Pittsburgh!
