Look for Buskers at the NFL Draft
Written by Allison Bridgwater
With the NFL Draft occurring from Thursday, April 23rd, to Saturday, April 25th, 2026, the football league is preparing to arrive in Pittsburgh, and talented local performers are getting ready to showcase their skills from 10:00 a.m. through 12:00 a.m. each day in Downtown.
Approximately 100 buskers, including musicians, bands, and jugglers will entertain and captivate our visitors. During this three-day event, you can root for your favorite team as they carefully choose their next players, or support the refreshing talent who might steal the show.
There will be a wide variety of musical artists who play string, brass, or woodwind instruments, and some who may stun you with their mystifying voices. If you’d like the chance to perform, there is a Downtown Busker Inquiry Form to fill out.
These street performers will receive $150 to 200 each for a live 1.5-hour show, and with so many creatives entertaining daily, you’re guaranteed to never get bored.
The busker routes will be released once the resident paths and street closures are confirmed, and then you can sit back and enjoy. The lively productions plan on traveling throughout Downtown, featuring key areas such as the Acrisure Stadium and Point State Park.
In anticipation of the tens of thousands of people coming to visit our beautiful City of Bridges, it’s important to show how special Downtown and the rest of Pittsburgh are to everyone.
Whether you’re looking for a nice way to spruce up your day or waiting for the NFL Draft to begin, do not miss out on this rare, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to support your amazing city and spread the lively spirit.
