Vallozzi’s

The Italian restaurant started by the Vallozzi family grew from Helen making gnocchi in her basement into Vallozzi’s with two locations, Greensburg and Downtown. The menu has Italian classics of pasta, pizza, Helen’s gnocchi, steaks and seafood along with fresh meats and cheese flown in weekly from Italy served at their Fresh Mozzarella Bar.


Yuzu Kitchen

Yuzu Kitchen offers a wide variety of ramen, stir-fry bowls, and a fully stocked bar with imported drinks. The restaurant aims to provide not only a delicious meal, but an experience with skilled bartenders and caring staff to help you decide what to try.

Chengdu Gourmet

The americanized Chinese food many are accustomed with is available, but the real taste of the Chengdu region of China is the true feature of Chengdu Gourmet. Wei Zhu, chef and owner, moved to Pittsburgh from Chengdu, China to offer the city his home’s delicious meals.

Located in the twin plaza in the Strip District, Papa J’s provides traditional Italian food, pasta, pizza and gelato. The open kitchen, bar and dining area make this a great place for a quick stop, sit down dinner or a drink and a slice.

The juice bar at 1:11 at the Southside Works is a unique spot for freshly squeezed juice, delicious smoothies and snacks. Opening in April 2022, owners Eric and Emily have been providing nutritious drinks to the Pittsburgh community.

The best place to get dumplings is, of course, Amazing Dumplings in Squirrel Hill. The variety of dumplings is overwhelming, but there isn’t a bad choice. Spicy or not, dumplings or noodles, Amazing Dumplings provides the best tastes from northern China. 


Braddock’s Rebellion

Grab a glass of history at Braddock’s Rebellion where one of the country’s best selections of bourbon and whisky is found. The history of the Whisky Rebellion meets the modern Appalachian Mountain Bourbon Trail in the Fulton Building downtown.
