Making Acoustic Tuesdays Possible in 2026
Written by Arlo Grey MacFarland
For the past ten weeks, the Downtown Neighbors Alliance (DNA) has hosted a concert series called Acoustic Tuesdays, a free show open to the public featuring local and underground talent. Having hosted a variety of acts including Ellen Perkins, Megan Paullet, Brynn Rees, Noah Goisse, Calico Dogs, and Abby Morgan, Acoustic Tuesdays has consistently brought in a significant crowd to the venue. Performed at Liberty Magic at 811 Liberty Ave. downtown, this intimate space really allows for authentic connection between the artist, the art, and the audience– and we’re so excited to have a sponsorship that allows us to bring these free shows back in 2026.
As we move into the holiday season, we are looking forward to what 2026 has in store for the concert series. DNA plans on hosting 24 concerts at Liberty Magic for our 2026 season. Acoustic Tuesdays has been a major contribution to our Liberty Avenue Project, which is dedicated to revitalizing the street through hosting events, opening new storefronts, and providing more third spaces for downtown residents.
For 2026, we are excited to announce that People’s Gas will be the official sponsor of Acoustic Tuesdays! Known for their collaborative efforts to bring culture to the city, People’s Gas will provide compensation for our highly talented artists, while keeping this event free to the public.
This collaboration is sure to bring about new opportunities for both new and returning Acoustic Tuesdays artists. Keep an eye out for more announcements regarding our 2026 Acoustic Tuesdays performers, as we plan to really change things up in the new year!
