Starting at 7 p.m. on October 7, 2025, the Downtown Neighbors Alliance (DNA) presents Acoustic Tuesdays, a weekly concert series dedicated to promoting small artists around the Pittsburgh area. Hosted at Liberty Magic, located at 811 Liberty Ave., the concert series will give a platform for two acoustic artists weekly, each playing a one-hour set.

Pittsburgh film festival Just Films is celebrating its 10th anniversary this 2025 season! This month, the festival presents indie film King Coal October 20, 2025. A collaborative effort between Chatham University, Point Park University, the YWCA and more, Just Films highlights deeper societal issues in the form of local film. Often making the viewer ask introspective questions about life and the world, this festival brings something different to Pittsburgh’s arts.

Acoustic Tuesdays Presents: Megan Paullet and Oliver Hufford
This upcoming Tuesday, October 14, 2025, the Downtown Neighbors Alliance (DNA) will host its second weekly Acoustic Tuesdays concert. Hosted at Liberty Magic located at 811 Liberty Ave., DNA will host musicians Oliver Hufford and Megan Paullet. Both artists hail from Pittsburgh, but each draws from greatly different genres. Paullet is a multi-genre singer-songwriter who takes great inspiration from Joni Mitchell, Aretha Franklin and Frank Zappa. Hufford, on the other hand, is an indie rock artist who found his love of music from artists like Owl City and Mumford and Sons.

La Bohème at the Pittsburgh Opera
This October, the Pittsburgh Opera presents its production of La Bohème, the 1895 opera written by Italian composer Giacomo Puccini. Located at the Benedum Center, this opera is sure to move you during your next night out on the town.
