Pittsburgh Oktoberfest 2025
Written by Arlo Grey MacFarland
The Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership will be hosting the annual Pittsburgh Oktoberfest from Thursday, October 2, to Sunday, October 12, 2025. Taking place between Ft. Duquesne Blvd. and the Sixth Street Bridge, Oktoberfest celebrates the strong Bavarian heritage of Pittsburgh, as well as providing fun for the whole family.
The festival came to Pittsburgh in the early twentieth century, mainly through community church events. Quickly expanding into what it is today, Oktoberfest highlights local businesses and talent to showcase the city and its culture.
The Biergarten will be featured once again, with a selection of local brews and German imports. Alongside this, live Oompah bands performing classic polka will provide music. Carnival game tickets will be available for families with tickets for purchase.
Admission is free to the public, and in-festival event tickets will need to be purchased. More details are available at Pittsburgh Oktoberfest's website.
