Class is back in session! Studying is rarely fun, but we have some downtown and Strip District spots that will make it just a little bit better. Pack your bag, grab a study group, and head to these spots downtown!

De Fer Coffee, with multiple locations around the city, aims to bring top-quality coffee and tea to the people at a fair price for both the consumers and the laborers.With exposed brick and colorful wall art, the space inspires creativity and productivity.

Bae Bae’s Café: 945 Liberty Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15222
Iconic Korean Bistro’s second location serves Korean-inspired bites, pasties, and coffee drinks featuring La Prima Espresso beans. A welcoming green space on Liberty Ave., Bae Bae’s Café offers a comfortable space for anyone to use to study.

Allegheny Coffee & Tea Exchange: 2005 Penn Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15222
Allegheny Coffee & Tea exchange offers one of the largest selections of worldwide coffees and teas in the city. A small shop in the Strip District selling local artisan goods, this shop is a great location to get cozy and read.

La Prima Espresso Co.: 205 21st St. Pittsburgh, PA 15222
Founded by Sam Patti in 1988 in the Strip District (where it still remains today), with a few other locations around the city. Patti opened the store originally to sell commercial espresso machines, but quickly expanded into a full espresso bar. With some outdoor seating, it allows for views of the bustling Strip District with some quiet separation.

La Gourmandine Downtown: 308 Forbes Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15222
With five locations around the Pittsburgh area, France natives Fabien and Lisanna Moreau bring the taste of French bakeries and coffee to Pittsburgh. The Moreaus opened the first location in Lawrenceville in 2010, with its newest location located in Oakland. The downtown location opened in 2017, creating a cozy café perfect for a study day.
