Celebrate the red, white, and blue with a spectacular view of the Golden Triangle and rockin’ tunes! This July 4th, head over to Grandview Park and jam out with Steel City Blast, who’ll be hosting musical entertainment throughout the evening, followed by a firework show, showcasing the best views in the Burgh.
The musical evening will begin at 4pm with Nashville recording artist Ansel Brown, who’ll kick off the party with a compilation of some of his best country hits! Enchanting audiences with his vivid storytelling and soul-stirring country-rock melodies, Brown brings his personal experiences to the stage hoping to inspire, uplift, and connect with his audience.
Continuing the fun, Nied's Hotel Band, voted Pittsburgh’s “Best Bar Band” in the 2016 Pittsburgh Magazine Readers Poll, will begin their rock-n-roll and R&B set starting at 5:45pm. Now some of the best-known and respected musicians in the region, members of the Nied’s Hotel Band deliver the hardworking, blue collar muscle that transformed Pittsburgh into a legendary rock-n-roll city.
Closing out the evening, the Billy Price Band, led by 2025 Blues Music Award nominee Billy Price, will unleash a powerful blend of blues, soul, and R&B to wrap up the night. As you listen, make sure to soak in the evening view while grabbing some local food and refreshments, which will be available throughout the evening.
