For fine dining, visit the Terrace Room, which serves “New Traditional” cuisine that blends classic flavors with inventive dishes. The dining area is open for breakfast and lunch Monday-Friday and brunch and afternoon tea on Saturday and Sunday. This room is made special by its history and elegant design. The original molding plaster ceiling, mahogany arches, and the black wall mural called “The Taking of Fort Pitt” remain since the room first opened in 1916.

On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday only, the Speakeasy is open for customers to enjoy drinks at the 1920s, prohibition-themed bar. The room earns its name by being hidden beneath the lobby of the hotel.

The Palm Court offers a variety of food in the form of small plates, entrees, and desserts. Diners overlook the lobby.

For a more casual option, enjoy local bourbon while watching the Pirates Game on TV in the Tap Room. This dining area is open from 11:30am to midnight, offering both a family friendly and late night option. It was originally called the Continental when it first opened in 1934 immediately after the repeal of prohibition. Since then, the room has tried out different names before settling on the Tap Room.

Mellon Square Coffee is the final dining option at the hotel, offering quick-service in a fun environment. This brightly colored room serves coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and snacks. The attached boutique sells Andy Warhal themed items you can pick up on your way out.
