Downtown Pittsburgh has plenty of restaurants that are perfect for date night or a nice family dinner. But is a night out truly complete without a glass of wine? Whether you feel like red, white, rosé, or sparkling, these spots have a great selection.

Vallozzi’s features an extensive wine list that earned the Wine Spectator’s Best Award of Excellence, making the restaurant one of 19 winners in the state of Pennsylvania. Come enjoy a glass of Italian or domestic wine in an elegant environment located on Fifth Avenue.
Bridges & Bourbon may be known for their cocktails, but their wine selection is just as special. Their offerings range from the Columbia Valley all the way to Slovenia, so don’t miss out. Take a sip of something new at the beautiful restaurant on Penn Avenue.
Sienna Mercato has a reserve wine list with bottles from California, France, Italy, and Hungary. These wines have a minimum aging period to ensure that the flavors are up to a quality standard. Enjoy a taste on one of three stories at their Penn Avenue location.

Rebel Room has a great selection of wines to accompany your stay at The Industrialist Hotel on Wood Street. Their bottles come from France, Italy, Argentina, and several regions of California, including Monterey, Sonoma County, and the Napa Valley.
The Warren Bar & Burrow serves eleven different reserve wines in the Clark Building on Seventh Street. Try one from Germany, Spain, or even Australia next time you find yourself at this cozy establishment.
Olive or Twist provides an excellent selection of wine on Sixth Street in the heart of Pittsburgh’s Cultural District. Most come from Modesto, California, but they also offer sparkling wines from France and an Italian prosecco.
Ritual House has perhaps the most extensive wine list in Downtown Pittsburgh. They receive shipments from several regions of California, the Columbia Valley, Italy, Argentina, Australia, France, Germany, and New Zealand. They make a stop in the Union Trust Building more than worth it.
It’s always a good idea to pair a delicious dinner with wine. If you end up at any of these restaurants, order a glass—or a bottle—and you’ll savor it as long as you can.
