New Restaurant to Open Downtown: ELIA

Fifth Avenue Place, which sits on the corner of Stanwix Street and Penn Avenue, is welcoming downtown’s newest restaurant: ELIA Mediterranean Grille. At their current location in Warrendale, ELIA brings some of the best Mediterranean flavors to Pittsburgh, and having them downtown is going to be so special for the community. 

Highmark Health announced its opening on the first floor of Fifth Avenue Place, where it will join Live Fresh, which opened this sumer. Co-owner Yianni Bourbakis is excited to come downtown, and to join the vibrant, diverse, and growing community the city has to offer– and we’re so excited to welcome him in!

ELIA will be open in the spring of next year, and will feature specials such as weekend brunch and a year-long outdoor dining area, courtesy of a heated patio. Downtown’s restaurant life will be elevated with ELIA, and we can’t wait for spring of 2026!
