This special event explores the legacy and ongoing impact of the Rooney Rule, originally designed to promise diversity in sports leadership, and its influence on hiring practices across sports, businesses, nonprofits, and more.

The discussion will feature Jim Rooney, grandson of Pittsburgh Steelers’ founder, Professor N. Jeremi Duru, a recognized expert on sports law, and will be hosted by Ande Conte, Point Park’s Center for Media Innovation.
