School is out, Mellon Square is in!
Written by Madeline Milchman
School is out, but learning doesn’t have to stop! Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership is hosting a series of fun-filled learning opportunities. Improve your artistic and musical abilities, make new friends, and enjoy yourself in Mellon Square at these How-To events. There are only two events left in June, and you do not want to miss them!
On June 24th, a Paint and Sips night will be held in Mellon Square. This includes a guided painting session of a Picklesburgh-inspired canvas led by Nirvana Crystal. All painting supplies are included, but drinks can be purchased separately at the cash-only bar. This event lasts from 5:30-7:30 and costs $25. Purchase tickets here.
Starting on June 25th at 6 pm, is the Steel in the City part of this series. The PDP is partnering with Steel City Arts Initiative to provide this free event for anyone from new to experienced musicians. The goal is to create a space for community, music, and fun.
