Written by Madeline Milchman
Once again, it's time to step out of the kitchen, but this time, step into the Strip District! We’ve compiled another list of restaurants that will do all the cooking and cleaning for you. When you’re feeling lazy or just need a break, these are our recommendations.

Caffé Mona is a French-inspired breakfast, lunch, and brunch restaurant. The ceiling is lined with rainbow umbrellas, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere. They have classic breakfast items like eggs, pancakes, and french toast, but they’re most known for their crepes. With both savory and sweet options, there’s a crepe for every craving. They’re located at 2019 Penn Ave and are open everyday from 8am to 3pm.
Lunch:

Colangelo's is a Pittsburgh favorite that serves pizza, pasta, and sandwiches, or if you’re still full from breakfast, grab a small Italian pastry. The deli-style restaurant makes their pasta, pastries, and bread fresh everyday. While inside seating is minimal, when the weather's nice, you can enjoy your lunch outdoors right in front of the store. They’re located at 207 21st St and are open Wednesday through Sunday until 4pm.

Kaya has bold flavors inspired by Caribbean, Pacific, and South American cuisines. Their avocado bahn mi tacos feature Vietnamese flavors, and their grilled jerk chicken torta features Jamaican flavors. The food, drinks, and atmosphere give a tropical feeling that will leave you relaxed and full. You can finish your meal off with cocktails or dessert, if you still have room. See the full menu here. They’re located at 2000 Smallman Street and are open everyday of the week.
