2025 Highmark International StrEAT Festival: Success!

This weekend, the Downtown Neighbors Alliance (DNA) held our annual Highmark International StrEAT Festival– and it was a major success! Vendors serving food from all over the world filled Smithfield Street and made for an unforgettable weekend of good food, vibes, and community.

Downtown residents and visitors alike explored the diversity of vendors offering different food cultures on Saturday and Sunday. Many raved about food they hadn’t tried before, and were pleasantly surprised with finding new flavors they couldn’t wait to come back to.  

StrEAT Fest introduced new flavors to downtown Pittsburgh, and we’re so grateful to have had the opportunity to bring these flavors and community together. The freshly made food was sure to leave your mouth watering– be sure to support your favorite vendors and grab a bite at their restaurants!

But the fun wasn’t inclusive to Smithfield Street. The Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival rocked the streets of Liberty Avenue, filling downtown with jazz music that was sure to knock your socks off. Collaborating with the Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival to make this weekend downtown one to remember was such an amazing experience. Between amazing food and amazing music, this weekend couldn’t get better if it tried.
