One Week Away: The Beginning of Acoustic Tuesdays
Written by Elisabeth Kay
One week from today, on October 7th from 7 PM-9 PM, Acoustic Tuesdays will be kicking off on Liberty Avenue. The Downtown Neighbors Alliance (DNA) has introduced this event as part of our Liberty Avenue Project, in which we have dedicated our time and resources to revitalizing Liberty Avenue to make it a safe and vibrant space for the community to gather. The Acoustic Tuesdays concert series will be hosted at Liberty Magic, 811 Liberty Ave., a theater space run by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.
Our first two performers taking the stage on October 7th are Ellen Perkins and Sarah Fair. One of our copywriters, Arlo Grey MacFarland, was able to interview both of them to give readers a background on the two women leading up to their Acoustic Tuesdays debut. Their excitement about bringing their music downtown is shared, and with these amazing performers, it’s going to be an incredible evening!
Acoustic Tuesdays will run until the end of the year at Liberty Magic, and we can’t wait to bring in more music and liveliness to downtown Pittsburgh, specifically Liberty Avenue. Tickets are free of charge, so enjoy a night of acoustic music at no cost! Get ready to find your next favorite song at Acoustic Tuesdays!
