With four sold out shows coming up at the end of June, Pittsburgh Public Theatre continues to do their share of keeping the theater community vibrantly thriving in downtown Pittsburgh. The cast and crew of Twelfth Night, a musical adaptation of a Shakespearean romantic comedy, have been working diligently to make this show the best they can.

The Pittsburgh Public Theater, located at the O’Reilly Theater Downtown, engages the diverse Pittsburgh community and champions local art creation and education. The 2024-25 season marks the Public’s 50th year of high quality theater. 

Pittsburgh has a long history of arts and culture, from Oakland, where the original cultural district was, to the very heart of downtown which it now calls home. The Pittsburgh Public Theater (PPT) has been a vital part of Pittsburgh’s arts scene. This year, it turns 50.
