An Enemy of the People: February 4th to February 22nd

Watch a Tony Award-winning adaptation of Henrik Ibsen’s classic play. A conflict arises in a political, profitable society. Dr. Thomas Stockman must expose life-threatening contamination in his town’s spa, all while fighting for justice. No one in the community escapes the battle between right and wrong.

Public Presents -

Meet Me at the Oak: February 19th to March 1st

- Written and Directed by Layon Gray.

  • Located in Helen Wayne Rauh Rehearsal Hall

From Public Presents and New Horizon Theater, a tense and memorable performance of black family trauma in 1950s Louisiana begins. The family faces quarrels with their white neighbors over a historic oak tree that was once a lynching site in the 1800s. So, the family gathers at the tree to honor their ancestors and pray.

Primary Trust: March 25th to April 12th 

- Written by Eboni Booth and Directed by Kyle Haden.

A Pulitzer Prize-winning play is something you absolutely must attend! Primary Trust is a dramatic comedy that delves into a kind community and amazing mai tais. Kenneth suffers in his career but finds a place to belong through his personal journey.

Coconut Cake: May 28th to June 14th

- Written by Melda Beaty and Directed by Eileen J. Morris.

Hungry for more? Consider a wonderful tale about aging and friendship that revolves around retired men playing chess at McDonald’s. You might even experience their life lessons with them. As for the coconut cake, a peculiar woman visits town with her delicious dessert, causing changes in the men’s relationship.
