The Cure Jam: 90s-00s Throwback Party

Travel back to the late 90s and early 2000s with an epic dance party, benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, held right here in the Golden Triangle. The Cure Jam: Throwback Party will take place in the Renaissance Hotel ballroom on August 29th from 7 to 10 pm with tunes by DJ Wonderboy and light appetizers to keep you dancing all night. Go all out wearing a velour tracksuit, animal print shirts, or stacks on stacks of shiny jewelry, and make sure to grab some pictures at their retro photo-booth!

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a progressive genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs, with nearly 40,000 people in the United States having the disease. Although progressions in the field of CF have been greater than ever, like increasing lifespan, many of those who suffer from CF still do not benefit or feel relief from the existing therapies. The Cure Jam’s mission is to not only raise awareness for those with CF, it’s to assist in finding a cure to end the burden of this disease.
