All-Ages Football Fun at NFL PLAY 60 Training Day

Written by Emma Schramm

Touchdown at the Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum! Kids of all ages can get moving at NFL PLAY 60 Training Day on Saturday, January 31st, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM—only a week before the big game! The Sports Museum will be transformed into an exciting competition with tons of football fun.

Kids will have the chance to train like a football pro with mini-NFL Combine drills run by the Pittsburgh Flag Football League. They can also show off their winning moves in the popular touchdown celebration contest.

Children and adults alike will love exploring Pittsburgh’s sports history in the museum, completing fitness challenges along the way. Compete all day in giveaways for exclusive prizes from DICK’S Sporting Goods, the event’s sponsor.

Admission is always free for kids 17 and under at the Heinz History Center. Regular admission applies for adult visitors, and accompanying cheerleaders should plan to remain on-site while their player participates.

The event is presented in partnership with the Pittsburgh Steelers and NFL PLAY 60, the National Football League’s wellness campaign that encourages children to get moving for at least an hour a day.
