Downtown Pittsburgh has amazing, filling, unparalleled dinners– that’s no surprise. But when you’re in the mood for a bite to pair with a drink, downtown Pittsburgh isn’t lacking. Here’s a list of some places in downtown Pittsburgh where you can satisfy your need for a small plate with absolutely delicious food.
Barcelona Wine Bar, located at 922 Penn Avenue, is the ultimate place for small plates downtown. Stop by for happy hour from Monday through Friday from 4 PM-6 PM to partake in some delicious bites at a discounted price. Options include Beef Carpaccio, Pork Belly, and more.

In the Industrialist Hotel, located at 405 Wood Street, is Rebel Room. Stop in for high-class bites during lunch and dinner, with bites ranging from crab & corn beignets to a burrata board. If you’re vegan, don’t worry– the cauliflower romesco is delicious!

When it comes to an amazing small bites menu, fl. 2 has something for everyone. Their cauliflower bites, served with chili sauce, are completely vegan and nut free, making sure anyone who wants to indulge, can. Additionally, their beef sliders, as well as their wings & fries, are completely nut free– so enjoy delicious bites, with no worries of allergens!
Bridges & Bourbon has a selection of small bites spread out among their dinner, brunch and happy hour menus. Treat yourself to some classics, such as a packed charcuterie board, or a platter of pretzel logs. For a bit of a discount, have some seared shrimp or brussel sprouts from their happy hour menu.
