Pittsburgh CLO Presents Yippee Ki Yay: A Parody Celebration of Die Hard

Written by Amanda Buchman

Pittsburgh CLO is excited to present Yippee Ki Yay, the parody celebration of the classic film Die Hard from the mind of Richard Marsh. The epic comic poem will be staged at the Greer Cabaret Theater from December 2 to 21.

Marsh, a Fringe First-winner, London poetry slam champion, and BBC Audio Drama Best Scripted Comedy Drama award-winner, is on his tenth run of Yippee Ki Yay since its debut in 2023. The joyfully funny show celebrates the iconic 80s festive favorite while also telling the personal story of a life-long Die Hard fan.

Off-duty policeman John McClane is the hostages’ only hope when gunmen seize an LA skyscraper. The uplifting action romp (and unauthorized parody) is a must-see for Hans Gruber connoisseurs and newcomers alike.

To get 15 percent off tickets, help Pittsburgh CLO settle a debate: Is Die Hard a Christmas movie? Use the code YIPPEEYAY to vote yes and YIPPEENAY to vote no! You’ll never see another show like it. Get tickets here!
