Explore a Downtown Craft Market

If you’re looking for an exciting weekend event, Handmade Arcade’s Modern Craft Market is a great place to shop and find handcrafted goods to personalize your home. Located at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center (1000 Fort Duquesne Blvd), the craft market runs from Friday, March 27th, 2026 (5-8 PM), beginning with a preview party event, through Sunday, March 29th, 2026.

The Modern Craft Market launched in 2026, and it’s supported by Contemporary Craft and Pittsburgh Glass Center, allowing for a celebration of creative crafts for everyone to enjoy. Over 100 artists and craft makers will sell goods ranging from glass, ceramics, furniture, baskets, textiles, jewelry, metal, etc.

The saying "the early bird catches the worm" definitely applies to Saturday, March 28th, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for all the morning people in Pittsburgh. General Admission shopping goes on from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. that day.

The last day of the Modern Craft Market, March 29th, there’s a Sensory-Friendly shopping time from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and then General Admission shopping from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The General Admission Weekend Pass is free, but if you want to receive more benefits, don’t miss out on the other options.

Besides shopping for your next favorite craft piece, you can watch artists demonstrate their glass blowing, woodturning, loom weaving, and wood carving.

There’s so much to do and learn at Handmade Arcade’s event, and a chance to win a raffle basket. For more information visit the Modern Craft Market website.
