Food lovers, mark your calendars: Pittsburgh Restaurant Week is happening now through Sunday, January 18, with an early access weekend that already kicked off last Friday. Tonight, Acoustic Tuesdays brings the energy back to Liberty Magic with two fan-favorite Pittsburgh artists, Noah Goisse and Abby Morgan, returning to the stage.

This fall, Downtown Neighbors Alliance kicked off something special. On October 7, we hosted the first of eight Acoustic Tuesdays at Liberty Magic, launching an experiment designed to bring local artists and live music to downtown Pittsburgh on a weekly basis. Pittsburgh is hosting a weekend of furry fun on Thursday, July 3rd to Sunday, July 6th for anthropomorphics, also known as furries, to come together for the annual Anthrocon Convention at the David L. The Downtown Neighbors Alliance hosted its first in its series, Downtown Dialogues, on June 11th. The event featured notable Downtown figures discussing retail recruitment and addressing the concerns that shape the trajectory of downtown’s success.

ASCEND is PPU Pittsburgh Playhouse’s upcoming production series featuring breathtaking visual and aural artistry. Audiences can look forward to enchanting projections, music, dance, and aerialist performances. A fusion of STEM and art, ASCEND will offer a unique interactive experience for all audiences. ASCEND homes in on universal themes such as humanity and the four elements of earth, air, fire, and water. The Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership is hosting a new three-week festival in Market Square this month. 

The Thaw has two weeks left and welcomes in spring by celebrating the city’s arts and culture scene, toasted with some St. Patrick’s festivities. A fixture each weekend will be The Lounge, which will host drag shows, pub trivia, an Irish pub experience and more. And highlighting the opening of the third weekend will be the ceremonial burning of a snowman to officially say goodbye to winter.
