Fresh Food in a Fresh Location- Downtown Pittsburgh’s Annual Farmers Market

Written by Madeline Milchman

Last Thursday, May 15th, kicked off the first day of Downtown Pittsburgh’s Farmers Market for its 21st season! This year, due to construction at its usual location, Market Square, the market’s new home is one block away in PPG Plaza.

The market features over 24 vendors, rotating each week. Shoppers can purchase fresh produce from Just Harvest using food stamps, credit cards, or debit cards. The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy and Coen Markets will be in rotation as well.

You can visit the market every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. through September 25th.
