Gallop to the Gala: PNC’s Year of the Horse Lunar New Year Celebration

The Pittsburgh Chinese Cultural Center is once again hosting its Lunar New Year Gala on February 7th! The Pittsburgh Playhouse, PNC Theater, will offer free cultural activities at 4 p.m., followed by the main performances at 6 p.m. The Chinese Cultural Center strives to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture while engaging with Pittsburgh's own Chinese community. 

Tickets are available on the Pittsburgh Chinese Cultural Center’s website and PopKnock app. With available seats averaging to be $39. 

This year’s returns include Yanlai Wu, an acclaimed choreographer and artistic director, and Ian Ward, a Broadway and recording artist.

Entertainment will also include Chinese theater and acrobatics, as well as joint performances from the Pittsburgh Playhouse and the local Chinese community. There will also be various prizes to be won by the audience, including a complimentary P.FChang’s appetizer card and kids’ meal voucher, as well as a raffle of 20 home appliances from Huarenstore, including electric stew pots, health kettles, rice cookers, blenders, grill and hot-pot combo cookers, and other appliances!
