Willow is a Copywriting Intern for The Downtowner. Currently, she is in her final semester at Duquesne University where she is studying English Writing. She enjoys writing fiction and poetry. Her nonfiction work focuses on the LGBTQIA+ and the indie art scene in Pittsburgh. Though not originally from Pittsburgh, her time at Duquesne has given her love for the city and especially her home in the downtown area and is excited to explore more elements downtown while working for DNA.

Gallop to the Gala: PNC’s Year of the Horse Lunar New Year Celebration

New Hotel Attached to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center
The David L. Lawrence Convention Center is expected to receive an adjacent hotel very soon! Pennsylvania State Senator Wayne D. Fontana, who has been spearheading this project along with the Sports and Exhibition Authority, announced that negotiations are still being made as they close in on a deal.
