Downtown Pittsburgh is about to come alive with sizzling flavors, irresistible aromas, and the soulful sway of live jazz. Highmark’s International StrEAT Festival returns September 20-21, in collaboration with the Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival (September 18-21), for a citywide celebration of food, music, and culture.

Highmark’s International StrEAT Festival will take over Smithfield Street from 7th Avenue to Strawberry Way, filling it with food vendors serving authentic dishes from around the world. Each vendor brings flavors and traditions that showcase Pittsburgh’s diverse dining scene. This year’s lineup includes favorites like Yuzu Kitchen, Papa J’s, Bae Bae’s, Vallozzi’s, Sushi I, and Yovi’s, along with even more delicious vendors!
Experience the Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival
Celebrating its 15th anniversary, the Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival is one of the nation’s premier jazz events and drew more than 30,000 attendees in 2024 alone. This year’s lineup features an exciting roster of talented musicians you will not want to miss! Whether you’re a lifelong jazz enthusiast or hearing it live for the first time, you’ll certainly find yourself swaying to the horns and rhythms.

The Downtown Neighbors Alliance (DNA) is still accepting vendor registrations for this year’s StrEAT Festival. Vendors will have the opportunity to share their cuisine with thousands of festival attendees in a lively, multicultural atmosphere that celebrates Pittsburgh’s rich diversity.
