Unusual Things are Coming to Pittsburgh!

Written by Madeline Milchman

All things strange and weird are coming to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center on

August 23 and 24. The Oddities and Curiosities Expo is a traveling expo for lovers of the strange, unusual, and bizarre.

The expo features vendors and artists selling creations ranging from taxidermy to vintage medical instruments and more. The event also includes sideshows, entertainment, and workshops. The Saturday workshop is taxidermy on a raccoon or rabbit. The Sunday workshop is entomology-themed and teaches pinning insects.

The expo is open from 10am-6pm on Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday. General admission tickets purchased in advance cost $11.55. Kids 12 and under are free. Class prices range from $150-225.
