OpenStreets, Endless Fun!

Written by Grace Regan

OpenStreetsPGH is back in downtown Pittsburgh! OpenStreetsPGH is a free community event that allows people to walk, run, bike, and explore spaces that would usually be used for motor vehicles.

This event is organized by Bike Pittsburgh, a non-profit organization representing the interests of the Pittsburgh community to make Pittsburgh streets and communities into energetic and healthy places by making them accessible for everyone to walk or bike.

Along the route, fitness classes will be available in the wellness hubs, kids can learn how to bike at the kids’ hub, as well as food vendors, and an array of other activities presented by local vendors and organizations.

OpenStreetsPGH will be taking place on Sunday, July 27, via Smallman Street in the Strip District, connecting all the way to Butler Street in Lawrenceville.
