Downtown Pittsburgh’s biggest New Years event is back to ring in 2026– First Night is back in the Cultural District this New Years Eve! Starting at 7 PM, the 32nd Annual First Night is brought to you by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. The event will have family-friendly activities, amazing live performances, and so much more fun!

For its 31st anniversary, Highmark First Night Pittsburgh will rock with more than 30 events for all ages. There will be live art and entertainment all over Downtown’s 14-block Cultural District.

At First Night, you can enjoy art both indoors or outdoors so you can stay warm or venture out into the streets.

Celebrate New Year's Eve with a mesmerizing fire dance performance by Geo Koryu at Highmark First Night Pittsburgh on. The performance is on Tuesday, December 31st at 9PM.

Geo, a Certified Evans Method Modern Dance Instructor hailing from Japan, brings a unique blend of traditional and contemporary dance styles to the stage.

Returning for the third time in Highmark First Night Pittsburgh's storied history, this year's ice maze is set to be a monumental attraction. Weighing in at over 60,000 pounds and standing an impressive 5.5 feet tall, the maze will cover a sprawling 30x40 foot area in the Giant Eagle Foundation Backyard; Penn Avenue & 8th Street Pittsburgh on Tuesday, December 31st at 6PM-11PM.
