Acoustic Tuesdays: 11/11 Recap and What’s Next!

Written by Arlo Grey MacFarland

This past Tuesday, November 11, 2025, The Downtown Neighbors Alliance (DNA) presented its weekly Acoustic Tuesdays series.  This week, we featured artists Bailey Rose and Calico Dogs, both Pittsburgh locals who play vastly different genres of music.

Bailey Rose is a 15 year old singer from south of Pittsburgh, who performed with her friend, Rowan, on guitar.  Despite her young age, she really pulled in a crowd!  Reminiscent of pop artists like 2010s Zedd, and dynamic genre benders like Hayley Williams, Rose brought a passion to her music that lit up the venue.

Then, there was half of the group Calico Dogs, a newer indie band who started playing music together in 2024. Similar to other local groups like Water Trash and Wild Blue Yonder, they blend genres to create something uniquely individual. Throughout their performance, they were cracking jokes and keeping the audience laughing.

Despite the cold weather, and the fact that Paul McCartney was performing a few blocks away, the two duos filled over 40 seats at Liberty Magic.  This Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Acoustic Tuesdays will host its second open mic night! With more variety acts this time, the DNA will host Rochelle Club and her talk show, singer Paige Bosic, and poet Sockie G. To reserve a free spot at Acoustic Tuesdays, follow this link here.
