Best Dish We Ate This Week 🍽️: Seafood Pajeon

This week, the best dish we ate was the Seafood Pajeon at Sushi Kim 2, a comforting and flavorful Korean classic that, for sure, delivered everything we wanted in a perfect shared plate.

The Pajeon, a savory Korean-style pancake, arrived sizzling and golden, pan-fried until it’s beautifully crisp at the edges. Packed with a balance of scallions and vegetables, it was a delicious dish. Each bite offered a satisfying crunch, followed by a soft, tender center, with seafood bits generously spread throughout for extra richness. It’s the kind of dish that seems simple at first glance, but truly addictive once you dig in.

But the meal didn’t stop there. We also ordered the Haemool Jeongol, a seafood hot pot that turned out to be just as memorable. Served bubbling in a deep, rich, spicy broth, it was loaded with an impressive amount of seafood: shrimp, squid, mussels, and more. The broth was deeply savory with a nice, warming kick, perfect for spooning over rice or enjoying straight from the pot.

Together, these two dishes made a delicious meal that felt both comforting and exciting. If you’re looking for something tasty at Sushi Kim 2, the Seafood Pajeon is a must-order, and pairing it with the Haemool Jeongol makes it even better!
