DNA’s First Walking Club was a Success!
As part of the Living Well Initiative, the Downtown Neighbors Alliance (DNA) held its first Walking Club event on Saturday, October 25 and saw a great turnout. The group met in Mellon Square at 10:00 AM and embarked on a journey to see the sights of Downtown Pittsburgh.

This weekend, Saturday, October 25, 2025, The Downtown Neighbors Alliance’s Living Well Initiative will kick off its Walking Club! As part of this initiative, the walking club encourages regular exercise and community-building activities in the downtown area. Helping to create another third space downtown, the DNA’s walking club is a free, all-ages, and dog-friendly group.

Healthy Living, One Step at a Time
The Downtown Neighbors Alliance (DNA) has been researching Pittsburgh health statistics in our aim to make Downtown Pittsburgh a thriving place to live. One of the ways we’re doing this is by implementing a Downtown Pittsburgh Walking Club, which will be starting in late November.
