Where History Meets Flavor: A Unique Downtown Experience

Looking for a unique way to experience Pittsburgh this summer? The Omni William Penn Hotel invites locals and visitors to step back in time with its interesting event, “Taste of History.”


Offered every Friday from Memorial Day through Labor Day, this immersive experience begins with a two-hour guided tour of some of Downtown Pittsburgh’s iconic landmarks, including the City-County Building and the Benedum Center, and concludes with a look at the historic Omni William Penn Hotel, including the stunning Grand Ballroom. Along the way, guests will learn more about stories and the architecture that has shaped the city’s heritage.


Once the tour is completed, guests are welcomed back to the elegant Omni William Penn for a cocktail and will receive a special gift.
