OpenStreetsPGH is back in downtown Pittsburgh! OpenStreetsPGH is a free community event that allows people to walk, run, bike, and explore spaces that would usually be used for motor vehicles.

Exciting news, Pittsburghers: the Living Well Initiative kicks off today at 6PM! Head to the Market Square UFC Gym for this free event and hear how DNA pledges to make downtown living healthier and happier. 

On July 9th, Mayor Ed Gainey, the Downtown Neighbors Alliance, and Huntington Bank welcomed our newest downtown resident, Katie Rotz, with a DNA welcome basket filled with an array of perks and gifts from Downtown restaurants and businesses.

Tucked right in the heart of Pittsburgh’s Cultural District, Proper Brick Oven & Tap Room is the kind of place that makes you want to cancel your afternoon plans just to stay a little longer. It’s got that cozy-but-cool vibe, complete with a real, wood-burning brick oven that anchors the entire space—and trust me, you can smell the goodness the moment you walk in.

We want to see your photos! Yes, the one’s just sitting in your phone’s photo gallery. Maybe it’s a beautiful golden hour photo of Downtown, a moody shot of morning traffic along Grant Street, or a quick pic of one of Pittsburgh’s iconic bridges. Whatever it is, if it truly captures the spirit of Downtown Pittsburgh or even the Strip District, it for sure deserves to be seen by the community who lives, works, and wanders here!

Jazz Live is a series of concerts sponsored by BNY and put on by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust in partnership with MCG Jazz. They are entirely free and take place every other Tuesday from 5-7pm. Below are the upcoming performances.

There’s only 8 days until the LWI Kickoff! DNA’s Living Well Initiative Kickoff is next week, and everyone’s invited. From 6-7:30, Downtown residents will gather at the UFC Gym in Market Square to learn more about this initiative’s plan to make Downtown a healthier place. 

Looking for an upscale evening with a lovely view? The Rooftop Sip and Soirée Sunset Picnic is set to bring elegance and energy to the skyline at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh.
