In just a few weeks, on November 1st at 8 PM, you can enjoy an amazing night out downtown and attend DNA’s Candlelight Crescendo concert! DNA’s First Acoustic Tuesdays: A Huge Success!
Last Tuesday, October 7, 2025, The Downtown Neighbors Alliance (DNA) kicked off our first weekly Acoustic Tuesdays concert featuring Ellen Perkins and Sarah Fair. The two singer-songwriters filled the evening with beautiful music for a lovely crowd.

This upcoming Tuesday, October 14, 2025, the Downtown Neighbors Alliance (DNA) will host its second weekly Acoustic Tuesdays concert. Hosted at Liberty Magic located at 811 Liberty Ave., the first concert lit up the rainy night with soulful music from artists and best friends Ellen Perkins and Sarah Fair.
A Night of Glowing Music: Candlelight Crescendo
Downtown Neighbors Alliance (DNA)’s next Candlelight Crescendo event is only a few weeks away! Come to the Pittsburgh Playhouse’s Highmark Theatre located at 350 Forbes Avenue on Saturday, November 1st, at 8 PM for a night that will take your breath away. This will be a night of Reimagining Rock, beautiful instrumentals and an intimate venue lit by a thousand candles providing a unique experience for everyone attending.
La Bohème at the Pittsburgh Opera
This October, the Pittsburgh Opera presents its production of La Bohème, the 1895 opera written by Italian composer Giacomo Puccini. Located at the Benedum Center, this opera is sure to move you during your next night out on the town.

A collaborative effort between Chatham University, Point Park University, the YWCA and more, Just Films highlights deeper societal issues in the form of local film. Often making the viewer ask introspective questions about life and the world, this festival brings something different to Pittsburgh’s arts.

Point Park University is Looking to Expand
Point Park University welcomed its biggest class since before the pandemic, and because of this, some of their freshmen have been calling the Wyndham Grand hotel their home. To give their students another place to live, Point Park University has been looking to renovate both 305 Wood Street and 500 Smithfield Street.
